Top Chef Gets a Taste of Fancy Filipino Cuisine

Sheldon Simeon, a Filipino-Hawaiian chef and contender on Top Chef's 10th season, whipped up modern Filipino food for the show's most infamous and grueling challenge, Restaurant Wars.

Top Chef judge Tom Colicchio said, “He put together a great restaurant, and every dish was a very good, strong dish. The flavors in each dish were harmonious, and the meal worked beautifully and harmoniously as a whole.”

His restaurant concept, “URBANo”, won against its rival, letting Simeon advance to the next round of the competition as well as earning him a new car.
